Hi I’m Lydia (BA Hons, DipHB KGH) I am a mum of three and a qualified Hypnobirthing teacher. I have a KGH Hypnobirthing Diploma which is a Royal College of Midwives accredited teacher training course. I am also a fully licenced Natal Hypnotherapy practitioner. I live in South East London with my husband Patrick and our three children.

I have first hand experience of Hypnobirthing and with contrasting labour experiences, I understand the difference Hypnobirthing makes to your experience of giving birth. My approach to teaching is down to earth and practical, and you will leave my course having learnt the skills and gained knowledge for your own better birth story. With a degree in Sociology & Linguistics, I have an understanding of the power of language, which plays a vital role in understanding why and how Hypnobirthing works.

“Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.” Rudyard Kipling

For a better birth story...

“There are some people who are born to work around birth and Lydia is one of them. Her passion for hypnobirthing and all things birth is infectious. She’s a natural It’s clear she really cares about the families she works with. Book Lydia today, you will never regret investing in this great course” Charlotte Mills - Midwife

“The best part of the course was highlighting the birth partners role. Lydia is really warm and made it very easy to ask any questions” Nicola Butler, Senior Producer, British VOGUE

“I love the practical nature of the course, how it all just makes sense and is linked back to our natural behaviours. The references to mammals, which I love, reminds me of our pilates theories as Joe Pilates also studies mammals closely. Lydia is knowledgeable, calm, fun and passionate” - Gemma Folkard Pilates Instructor

"Lydia’s experiences of giving birth, both with and without KGHypnobirthing, equip her to be an excellent teacher as she really understands the difference that doing the KGHypnobirthing course makes to your experience of birth, and also to your baby. Added to this she has completed the full RCM accredited KGHypnobirthing Teacher Training Course, so the knowledge she can pass on to the couples she teaches is first class." - Katharine Graves Author of The Hypnobirthing Book.
